The boys love Joyschool. Here are a few pictures of the kids, eating their cookies that they frosted and decorated. Definately a fun little group of friends.
We had a huge snow storm on Friday night and Saturday morning. Here are some pictures. The Hershey area got about 18 inches, in 24 hours. South of us had alot more. We had a fun time playing in all the snow. Asher was drowning in it, so he didnt go out much. Here are some of the rest of us.
Today is Zachary and Tanners 5th Birthday! I cant believe how big they are. I still remember the day they were born. It was full of excitment and fear. They were born prematurely, when I was 32 weeks along. Zachary Welker weighed just 3 lbs 6oz. Tanner Michael was a tiny 3 lbs 13 oz I was so happy to finally be a mommy! They were so little and required so much attention! As they grew they have been able to play with eachother and bond with eachother in a way I may never fully understand. They are BEST FRIENDS!
The years have flown by, and now I have these two healthy, happy, smart little guys. They are the light of my life. They truely bring such joy to our lives. We are so blessed to have them both. We celebrated their birthday early over the weekend. We drove to Easton, PA to visit the Crayola Factory. They are at the perfect age and had the perfect attention span for such a cool, busy place. We loved the demonstration of how they make crayons. Zach like that the orange crayon was renamed MAC 'N CHEESE.
We also went to the National Canal Museum. I know what you are thinking, "a canal museum?" It was on the top level of the crayola factory. I thought it was cool. They had 90 feet of "canal" and locks that you could play with. The boys loved it! It was facinating to learn about the canals, and locks. We even got to play on a pretend boat and mule.
There was a pizza party and we dinned on cake and ice cream with Grandma and Grandpa Chamberlain. Grandma made the boys each a special cake. Tanner wanted a green one. Zach wanted Orange. So these are what she created. A tiger and a dinosaur. The kids loved them. Thanks so much Grandma! div>
The singing is horrible, I know. I was a bit distracted.
I am the happy mother of 4 sons. My husband is a neurophysiologist and I am a stay at home mom and Zumba instructor. Life is great and we love to share our fun adventures with our family and friends, near and far. After a few years on the east coast, we have returned to the west for a new adventure. Every place we go, we meet wonderful people. We find that even though locations may not always be perfect, as long as we are together, we are at home.
"Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around and shouting that he has been robbed. The fact of the matter is that most putts don't drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is like an old time rail journey...delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."Evening with a General Authority, September 1980President Gordon B. Hinkley
"You will have significant experinces. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experinces." -Gordon B. Hinckley
