WINTER TIME FUN
Grandma sent a fun Christmas package this month. It had some great hats in it, that she handmade. We were all really excited to get them and try them on. I also thought I would add some pictures of the boys outside in the cold weather with Daddy (from Feburary not Dec). Not much to say about Pennsylvania snow. There hasn't been much to speak of. We have had some pretty scary ICE storms this year. But, not much in the way of accumulation of snow. I am grateful, I hate driving in bad weather. Hopefully the springtime will still be green and lovely

Halloween 2007
Here is a picture of the boys halloween costumes. They went as Dr. Suess's Thing 1 & Thing 2. They were very cute and excited to go get candy! Zach came home and was so excited about his bucket. I was surprised that they each only asked me for 1 candy that night. I think its becuase we gave them such a big dinner. I have resorted to starting a family tradition of PIZZA halloween night. There is too much going on for me to cook. It was a nice break for me as well.
Daddy took the boys around the neighborhood while I answered the door for all the kids. Mike was surprised how much fun he had taking them around. He loves this age. He thinks the kids have finally reached an age where they are more fun than work. It was pretty cute to see the three of them going door to door.

Emerald Isle, North Carolina
We had so much fun on the family vacation to Emerald Isle, North Carolina this summer. We stayed in a really fun beach house right on the water. The boys loved the ocean. Every morning they would hurry and eat breakfast and then beg to go swimming. We loved spending time with all the Babbels. Everyone was there except for Justin (who is on a mission in Japan). The boys loved playing with their cousin Lex. We really had a great time. I especially like going to New Bern, to get Pepsi at the original pharmacy it was invented at in 1898. Dumpy town, but neat adventure. Mike and I also went over to historical BEAUFORT and toured the towns historic cemetery and homes. The most interesting was the Hammock House where Blackbeard the pirate stayed very frequently, rowing in from his ship in The Creek and tying his dingy to the front porch. Some say there was treasure buried in the yard.
I also loved the shocked faces of family and particularly my husband as I crunched into a "Softshell crab sandwich" at the famous "SANITARY" restaurant in Moorehead City. The legs were still on the crab (you eat them too!)and Mike thought I was eating a tarantula on a bun. I loved milking the moment, slowly taking bites and giving a sigh of enjoyment.
Pretty fun stuff, loved every second of it!

Here in Pennsylvania
Well, we have finally been convinced to start a blog spot for our friends and family across the country. Moving around so much has been fun ,but has left us out of touch with some of you. We thought we could keep updated pictures of our adventures on here. Its not the same as seeing each of you in person, but allows us the chance to share our love and special moments as a family with you.
As many of you know we have been in Hershey, Pa now for almost 1 year. We love it here. It really has a charm we cannot resist. We try to do as many new things as possible. We are never sure how long we will stay in one place. Therefore, we take in as much as we can. Living in the east has been a great experience for our whole family. Mike is extremely happy with his job. He loves neuro-monitoring and working at Hershey Medical Center. I am happy finally having a place to call home. Its been quite some time since we had our own home. It is also nice for me to be so close to my parents and siblings who are also in Pennsylvania. We really enjoy seeing them and the twins love seeing them as much as possible. Zach and Tanner are thriving and are tons of fun . Our newest addition should arrive in late April. We are very excited about the miracle of this unexpected member of our family. We cant wait to meet them.
We are grateful to our Heavenly Father who guided us to this area and job. We know he hears and answers our prayers. We have seen his love and mercy in our lives. We feel very blessed!!
